Shift workers may be able to stay alert using a drug designed to treat the sleep condition narcolepsy, where people fall asleep involuntarily....More research is being done to see if it can also help tired truck drivers, medical staff and soldiers.
Let's see, companies wanting their employees to take drugs to allieviate sleeping orders brought on by working hours that are not natural. Sounds pretty dehumanizing to me. But hey, anything for a buck...
